Jaws Deploy is built by the people who use it.

We are a small group of software and DevOps engineers in Norway and Poland. We started Jaws Deploy in 2023 because the deployment tools we depended on every day had stopped working for us.

We had spent years operating deployments on top of Octopus Deploy. We liked the deployment model - the same one we still believe in today - but every renewal made the bill harder to justify, and the product kept growing in directions we did not need.

So we started building the alternative we wanted: a deployment tool that is simple to pick up, flexible enough to grow with a real platform, and approachable from day one. We care about good UX, sensible defaults, and being open about what works and what does not. We do not cover every Octopus scenario yet, and we are honest about that - we are moving fast, listening closely, and adapting to what teams actually need. Tell us what works. Tell us what does not.     Not a CI plugin. Not a YAML afterthought. The deployment surface deserves its own model, its own UI, and its own runtime.

    The right defaults solve more problems than another layer of configuration. We aim for a product you can pick up in an afternoon and still trust at scale.

    Flexible where it counts

    Environments, targets, variables, scoped overrides. Get those primitives right and teams can model real-world infrastructure without fighting the tool.

    Approachable on day one

    Good UX is not a bonus. A clear UI, readable docs, and a workflow that respects your time are part of the deployment platform, not optional polish.

    Open to your input

    Customers tell us what is missing and what is rough. We adapt fast - new integrations, new step templates, new scenarios - because the roadmap is set by the people running real deployments.

    Fair, predictable pricing

    No per-target tax. No surprise renewal bumps. Pricing should be something you can plan around, not something you have to negotiate every year.

    Long-time DevOps engineer. Spends most of his time on the platform, the deployment runtime, and making sure the product stays honest about what it does.

    Njål Co-founder Oslo, Norway

    Software engineer with a background in shipping production systems. Focuses on the developer experience, integrations, and the parts of the product teams interact with every day.

  • Andrzej
    Andrzej Co-founder Wroclaw, Poland (EU)

    Software engineer who has been building and operating .NET systems for the better part of two decades. Works across the product - backend, infrastructure, and the marketing site you are reading right now.

Registered in Norway. Operating across the EU. Remote by default.

Jaws Deploy AS is registered in Norway. Development happens in Oslo and Wroclaw, our cloud runs in Germany, and the whole team is remote. Data residency and hosting details live on the Trust and Security page.
