# Update a workspace variable value

Update a scoped value on a workspace variable.

`PUT /api/workspace-variable/value`

Updates the value content and/or its filters. Pass only the fields to change.

## Parameters

## Errors

| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| 400 | Invalid `variableValueId` or filter validation failure. |
| 401 | Missing or invalid Basic auth credentials, or the service account lacks the required role. |
