# Stop using a workspace tenant variable in a project

The project stops getting a workspace tenant variable.

`DELETE /api/project/workspace-tenant-variable`

The tenants keep their values, so other projects that use the variable are not affected, and the values come back if the project uses it again.

## Parameters

| Name | In | Type | Required | Description |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| `projectId` | query | string | yes | ID of the project. |
| `templateId` | query | string | yes | ID of the workspace tenant variable. |

## Errors

| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| 400 | Invalid `projectId`, or the project doesn't use that workspace tenant variable. |
| 401 | Missing or invalid Basic auth credentials, or the service account can't edit this project. |
