# Delete a lifecycle

Delete a lifecycle.

`DELETE /api/lifecycle`

Deletes a lifecycle. Channels that bind to it must be updated separately.

## Parameters

| Name | In | Type | Required | Description |

| `lifecycleId` | query | string | yes | ID of the lifecycle. |

## Errors

| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| 400 | Invalid `lifecycleId`. |
| 401 | Missing or invalid Basic auth credentials, or the service account lacks the required role. |
